beautiful views and position. Really bad breakfast - cold and took minimum 25 minutes to get a coffee as the girl had to run a down 2 huge flights of stairs to get it (poor thing).
The 'signora' at front desk burst into my room without knocking when I was in bed and was really unpleasant about it. She also would not believe me when I said my TV was not working. She said 'How come the TV's work in every room but not yours?'

Hard to find even using a GPS. At least we had to phone the hotel and appointed a place where they could find us and bring us to this wonderful hotel.

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the historic district, on top of the hill, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. the rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, with high ceilings and large windows. the staff is friendly and efficient, providing excellent service throughout our stay. the breakfast spread is delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. the rooftop terrace is a standout feature, providing a perfect spot to enjoy pre-dinner cocktails while taking in the stunning view.
One minor downside is that the bathroom lacked certain amenities, such as a kettle or coffee machine for convenience. the towel rack in the bathroom was quite small, making it difficult to hang multiple towels at once.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel in the heart of a historic town. The location couldn't have been better - nestled right below a majestic cathedral and overlooking the charming cave houses. The views from our room and the rooftop terrace were simply breathtaking. The stylish and opulent decor added to the overall feeling of luxury and elegance. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring we had a relaxed and enjoyable stay. We were able to freely access the beautiful public rooms on the first floor, which were filled with fascinating art and added to the grandeur of this place. Additionally, the breakfast served in the beautifully decorated piano nobile apartments was a delightful experience. We truly felt like royalty during our time here.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and enhanced stay.

We enjoyed the two complimentary glasses of wine given upon arrival, as well as the beautiful terrace view of the town. the hotel was located in a great central location, close to many restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
The Wi-Fi signal was poor and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected. the breakfast coffee was disappointing and not up to Italian standards.
